Live rooms
Live rooms bring students together for a shared discussion, with recordings and feedback for the group and each student.
Parts of a live room
A live room is a video call in the Studio where a group of students discusses a case by following a shared agenda. The room brings the students, questions, materials, and clock together during their scheduled session.

The agenda and timing
The first student to join leads the agenda in a room that students lead. Another student can press Lead the group. A present host controls the steps in a hosted room.
The course's owners and admins can reopen a discussion that the group ended by mistake. They can reopen it until the session's planned end or one hour after it ended, whichever is later. The Studio reopens the discussion on the step that the group was on. The Studio keeps the same agenda and the answers that students already gave. Each part's report names the other part so that you can read the discussion across both reports.
Watch a room
Watch opens a live session as an observer with your camera and microphone off. A teaching assistant with the Reviewer role can also observe. People lists observers separately, while seated participants count toward the start rule and required answers.

Recordings and the report
The Studio records the shared room and each student's own camera and microphone. Individual recordings receive transcripts and AI feedback when the AI assistant is on, plus grades when the assignment is graded. The group grade card and note appear on the shared recording.
At the top of the report, you can choose Summary, Results, Students or Materials. Summary opens first. In Summary, you can see a timeline of each person's speaking turns with their share of the talk, the group's balance score and the group's level on each rubric criterion. A table under them lists each student's share of the talk and their result in one line. In Results, you can compare the students on each criterion and read the group's full feedback and the case decisions. In Students, you can read one student's feedback. In Materials, you can find what the guide asked the group to read or watch. The Open the video button at the top opens the discussion's video in the player with its feedback beside it. When enough conversation has been recorded, you can read a written summary with references to specific moments. Release feedback makes held results available to students.
