The verification phrase asks students to speak a phrase on camera to show that the recording is live. Session signals asks students to use full screen and records when they leave the page. Those observations appear with the recording for review.

Reviewing exams and practice

Oral Exam uses the Oral Exam Rubric. Question Draw uses the Question Response Rubric, and Project Defense uses the Viva Voce Rubric. You can review each displayed question at the moment when it appeared. Details holds your choice for how the AI's grade is used.

Practice Oral Exam uses Feedback only, no grade. Students score their recording against the Exam Self-Review Form before reading feedback.

Practice out loud is available on an assignment with the AI assistant on. The student speaks to a practice partner, and the AI answers in text.
