Grades

Grades shows your class's results in Gradebook, Reports and Class trends. You can find each student's grades and open the work that waits for a grade.

Parts of Grades

Grades has three tabs. Gradebook shows each student's grades across the assignments. Reports shows each assignment's submissions and opens every report. Class trends shows the class average after each assignment.

Gradebook

Class averageClass average shows the percentage across students who have a grade.
To gradeTo grade counts videos awaiting a grade or shows how many AI grades are held for review.
MissingMissing counts overdue work awaiting submission and the students who owe it.
Card filtersPressing a card shows only the students it counts, and Class average shows every student again.
Find and sortFind a student narrows the rows by name, and Sort orders them by name, total or missing work.
Export CSVExport CSV downloads the gradebook as a spreadsheet file.
Rows and columnsEach student has one row and each assignment has one column, with Total on the right.

An assignment's analytics page gives you a closer view of rubric results. Each criterion shows how many students reached each level, its average and disagreement among graders. You can use those counts to identify a criterion that deserves more teaching time. The recordings provide the evidence behind individual scores.

A student's full report

You can open a student's full report from their name on the Reports tab, or with Full report in the player's header. The student opens the same page with Your results.

The grade is a ring at the top with its state, such as Grade posted, or For you to post when the AI's grade is held for review. A discussion's report shows Talk time, Quiz, Group balance and Length beside it. A video's report shows Length, Pace, Filler words and Eye contact.

Read the rubric linesOne list of the rubric's lines is under the grade. Each row shows the line's short name, its level, its points and one sentence of what the student did. A line worth no points shows its level only.
Open a linePress a row to open the line. The next step comes first and says what would raise the line one level. The cited moments come next, each with the words said and the comments made at that moment. The level reached and the next level up come last.
Open MorePress More to read the whole reason for the level, every level with its words, and the line's full wording. On a discussion, you also see the group's card for the line.
Play a momentPress a moment's time to play the recording from that moment.

Download a report

Grades gives you three spreadsheet files: the gradebook, the Activity report and the Task report.

Download a class filePress Export CSV on the Gradebook tab for the gradebook, or on the Reports tab for the whole class's Activity report.
Download one assignment's fileOn the Reports tab, open the assignment's row menu and press Activity report (CSV) or Task report (CSV).

Download every transcript collects an assignment's transcripts from its analytics page. Print this summary prints that page's analytics. These files support a closer review of the words and rubric results behind the class totals.
