The player

The player brings a recording, its transcript, and its feedback together for review.

Parts of the player

The player is the page where you watch a student's video and read feedback. The video and its controls are on the left, and a side panel is on the right. The buttons at the top right include Invite reviewers and Download. The select at the top of the panel names the open view, for example "Showing: Comments 13". You can choose every view of the panel from its list, where each view appears with its icon and its name. The views include Rubric, Comments, Transcript, Observations, Analytics and Details, and some videos also have Feedback, Camera notes, Guide, Agenda or Self-review. Above a guided activity's video, a switch offers Video, which plays the recording, and Steps, which shows each step of the activity with the student's answer. Above a group discussion's recording, the Viewing select offers Group recording, which is the recording of the whole room, and Side by side, which shows every student's own camera at once. Each student appears in the same list with their name and picture. For professors, each student's name is followed by their grade, for example "Grace Liu · 8 of 16". A grade that is held for your review appears as "Grace Liu · 12 of 16, held for your review". A student who needs grading appears as "Grace Liu · needs grading". Choosing a student plays that student's own recording on the same page. The side panel then shows that student's rubric and feedback. Playback continues from the same moment when that is possible. Otherwise, it starts at the beginning of the student's recording. A student sees only their own name in the list. With Group recording chosen, the group's feedback appears first in the panel's Rubric view. Below it is a table with every student's name, grade and status. The statuses are Posted, Held for your review and Needs grading. Selecting a row opens that student's rubric inside the table. If the AI graded that student, the rubric opens with the AI's levels chosen. Post grade there posts that student's grade. Selecting the student's name plays their own recording instead. Post all posts every grade that is held for your review in one step. A video that comes from another source shows its author and licence on one line under the playback controls. At the end of the Feedback view for a group discussion's recording, you can select Full report to open the discussion's report. In the header, a professor selects Full report to open one student's results for that video, and the student selects Your results to open the same page.

Hi, I'm Maya. Quick question before I tell you what I do...
how much time did your team lose to manual reporting last week? For most operations leads we talk to, it's a full day. Every week.
I work with Relay. We plug into the tools your team already uses and turn that weekly reporting grind into a live dashboard that builds itself.
We have native connectors for the big platforms, custom field mapping, and an export engine that handles every format your leadership asks for.
One customer, a 40-person logistics team, got their Mondays back within two weeks of switching.
If losing a day a week sounds familiar, I'd love fifteen minutes to show you what your dashboard would look like. Thanks!

Comments

Comments give feedback at specific times in the video. At the top of the Comments view, professors can choose All, AI or Yours with a switch. Each option shows its number of comments, for example "All 13". Students can choose All, From your instructor or AI, each with its number of comments. A dot appears beside each comment that you have yet to open. Each card for an AI comment has a title that names its rubric line or type of feedback. The AI also writes a comment about the whole video in a card titled Overall comment. The assignment owner can choose Ask the AI to write it again from the overall comment's menu and give a reason.

You end by asking for an interview to discuss the role.

Press a comment's time to play the passage it discusses.

The AI writes about one comment per 15 seconds of speech, with 4 to 20 comments in the set. At least a third describe strengths. At least a third describe something that the student could improve. AI markers identify parts of the talk on the timeline. You can click a cue below the comments to add it as a comment at the video's current time, and a student can do the same on their own video. Each comment with a cue shows the cue as a coloured label. The label has the same colour as the comment's dot on the timeline and as the cue button.

Rubric

The rubric shows a score for each assessed line. An AI proposal includes reasons and quoted moments that you can compare with the rubric's descriptions.

Observations

Observations identify moments in the student's delivery, shared screen, or camera view. Camera checks depend on the pack's rules. The video provides the context for each observation.

Speaking pace
81words/min

Conversational range is roughly 130–170 words per minute.

Filler words
0instances, 0 a minute of speech

Counted: um, uh, er, ah, hmm, you know, and like used as a filler ("I, like, folded clothes", not "I like it"), in the main speaker's words, for each minute of their speech. When the student is the main speaker, the rubric's filler line reads this same number; with no main speaker it counts every voice.

Long pauses
0pauses > 1.5s, 0 lengthy

Deliberate pauses land; unplanned ones read as hesitation.

Hedging
