Rubrics
Rubrics define how recordings are assessed, while collections keep rubrics and materials available for reuse.
Kinds of rubric line
A rubric is the list of lines a recording is scored on, each with its levels or points. Each line describes a part of the work that you assess. The rubric builder also includes headings and written responses.
A heading for a section
The line's wording explains what you assess. Its levels and points explain how that judgment becomes a score. You can revise the wording and scoring while preparing the assignment.
The Library page
Library is the page for reusable assessment tools and teaching materials. Collections hold rubrics, marker sets, and media. My Collection contains your own items.
Choose an assignment's rubric
Each template includes a rubric and settings. Details during New assignment lets you edit its lines or choose lines from the pack's library.
| Template | Included rubric |
|---|---|
| Presentation | Public Speaking Competencies Form |
| Discovery Call | Needs-Discovery Sales Rubric |
| Debate | Argument, Rebuttal, Evidence, and Delivery |
Graded with a rubric gives the assignment a score. Feedback only, no grade supports practice. In Practice Presentation and Practice Oral Exam, students score their own recording line by line before reading AI feedback.
When AI grading is on, the recording's Rubric tab shows proposed scores, reasons, and quoted moments. You can change the proposal before posting.
Materials
Materials provide the documents and films that students use for their work. You can write a case with its own materials and rubric. Read and Watch steps present those materials during the assignment.
Students in a live room can open exhibits from Materials on the shared stage. Students read their posted rubric and comments when feedback is available.
