Assignment settings
Learn the choices for recording, feedback, and grading, and where their starting values come from.
Time and attempts
Assignment settings are the values that decide how students record and how their work is graded. Details holds these choices during New assignment. Edit assignment holds later changes, which the Studio saves as you make them.
The assignment's due date
A live room uses Sessions for joining and duration. Its scenario supplies the initial session settings. The guide sets the time for each step.
Feedback and recording
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| What gets graded | Graded with a rubric or Feedback only, no grade. |
| How the AI's grade is used | Post automatically; Hold for my review; Post high scores, hold the rest; or Off. |
| AI assistant | Processing for transcripts, AI feedback, and AI grading. |
| Hold feedback until you release it | Students receive comments and scores when you press Release feedback. |
| Peer review | Classmates can watch and comment on each other's videos. |
| Self-review with the rubric | Students score themselves before reading the AI's assessment. |
| Reviewers see grades | Teaching assistants and judges can read scores. |
| A live buyer talks with each student | The AI buyer speaks and responds during recording. |
| An AI guide reads each step aloud in the room | The guide reads steps and asks their questions. |
| Verification phrase | Students say a phrase on camera to show the recording is live. |
| Session signals | The recorder requests full screen and notes departures from the page. |
| Screen sharing | Off, Optional, or Required. |
| Context for the AI | Private background, such as the buyer's underlying concern. |
Hold for my review keeps the AI's rubric scores for you to check before posting. Hold feedback until you release it controls when students see comments and scores. These are separate choices.
