Packs, templates and scenarios

The five packs provide templates, scenarios, and starting settings for your assignments.

The five packs

A pack is a set of ready-made assignments for one subject. A template is one kind of assignment in a pack, and a scenario is the situation students work on.

  • Professional Selling

Pitches, discovery calls, objection practice and full sales calls.

  • Presentations & Communication

    Speeches, presentations and impromptu answers.

  • Verbal Exams

Timed oral exams and project defenses, with a practice try first.

  • Live Discussion Rooms

Small groups discuss a case in a video room, step by step.

  • Debates

Two sides prepare apart, then argue in timed rounds before a judge.

The five pack cards show each pack's name and the work it covers.

Templates and scenarios

A template supplies the assignment's format, rubric, and starting settings. A scenario supplies the situation, people, and facts that students address. You can revise the supplied instructions and settings before creating the assignment.

Cases and the case page

A case is a situation with objectives and an agenda for students to follow. Search every pack finds assignments across the library. Chapter narrows the list to material for a chapter of the course's book.

The case page holds its objectives and agenda. Preview the experience opens the activity for inspection. Run a demo room shows a room case with simulated students. Some cases include an overview video that introduces the situation.

Your semester plan

Your semester plan is the collection of assignments you keep for a class. The + beside an assignment adds it to the plan. The plan lets you review your selections and create them together.

A plan can cover one chapter or a sequence across the term. A single scenario can also continue through New assignment, where you check the student's work and due date.

Your own material

Your own buyer and similar choices let you write a situation. Start from scratch lets you write student steps with the pack's settings. Your case can include your documents, film, and rubric.

Your choices summarizes the assignment before creation. Change returns to a choice that needs revision. Create assignment adds the finished assignment to students' Assignments list.
