Steps students follow

Learn the kinds of step, the questions students see, and the tasks that follow a recording.

Kinds of step

The steps are the instructions a student follows in order, such as Read, Decide, Watch, Record and Reflect. Each step holds the words and materials for that part of the assignment. Students follow the sequence before and during their recording or live discussion.

Other kinds support preparation, live conversation, and group activities.

An individual assignment uses one Record step. A room uses Discuss for its conversation. Students can read This step beside the camera, open Materials for supporting content, and open Agenda for the sequence.

Questions on screen

Prompt cards are questions that appear during a recording. You write the questions or use Draft from my topic and edit the result. Students see the questions when recording starts. You can review each question at the moment when it appeared.
